What we do with your data.
This notice describes precisely what information this website collects, what we use it for and who processes it. Last updated: September 28, 2026.
- Controller
- Ciancoders, a software engineering firm headquartered in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Contact: ventas@ciancoders.com.
- Data we collect
- Only what you leave in the site’s forms: name, email address, company, and — depending on the form — the type of need, a budget range, a timeline and your answers to the Software Readiness Assessment (questions about your application’s architecture, security, maintainability, data, operations and use of AI). When you book a call, Cal.com receives your name, email and company to create the appointment. Our hosting provider logs the usual technical data for each request (IP address, browser, requested page) for security and operations.
- What we use it for
- To respond to your request, prepare and hold the call you booked, review your readiness profile and propose a next step. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
- Who processes it
- Cloudflare (site hosting and delivery network); Cal.com (call scheduling); Web3Forms (email delivery of forms to the Ciancoders team) and hCaptcha (anti-spam verification on the assessment’s final step, validated by Web3Forms). Each acts as a service provider under its own terms. Analytics tools (Google Analytics 4 for quantitative usage and conversion metrics, with IP anonymization and Consent Mode; Microsoft Clarity for qualitative behavioral analytics — heatmaps and session recordings — with the assessment, forms and calendar masked) and marketing tools (Meta Pixel; Apollo, visiting-company identification) exist in the code but load only if Ciancoders configures them and you accept them in the cookie notice; both analytics tools require the same “Analytics” acceptance. - Cookies
- The site stores in your browser only your cookie decision. Analytics and marketing load only if you accept them in the cookie notice, and you can change your decision at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Necessary providers (Cal.com when booking) may use their own cookies. Provider-level detail, with durations, is in the Cookie policy.
- Retention
- We keep contact data while there is an active conversation or business relationship, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Your rights
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to ventas@ciancoders.com. We respond within a reasonable time and confirm what was done.
- Changes
- If what this site does with your data changes, we update this notice and the date at the top.
