About Ciancoders
What is Ciancoders?+
An AI-native software engineering firm founded in 2015 in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, with 400+ projects for 60+ clients in 10 countries. We build, rescue, scale and operate software by combining engineering judgment and artificial intelligence.
What does "AI-native" mean?+
That our way of working is designed from the start for people and AI agents to build software together: AI accelerates execution, and people remain accountable for intent, architecture, security, review and the outcome.
Where are you and what hours do you work?+
Headquartered in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, with a team distributed across Latin America. We work in English or Spanish, on schedules compatible with the US and Canada.

What is Cian-OS?+
Cian-OS™ is our delivery system: it defines how people and AI agents turn business problems into verifiable, maintainable, operable software. Five systems (Intent, Foundation, Build, Verify, Operate) with eight cross-cutting controls.
Do I own the code?+
Yes. Code and documentation live in your repository from day one.
Will you sign an NDA?+
Yes — before we see any of your code or business data.
Do you use my data to train AI models?+
No. The AI tools we use operate under professional-use agreements that exclude training on client data.
Pricing and investment
How is a project priced?+
As a fixed investment on a defined scope, which comes out of the Cian-OS™ Product Blueprint. Because AI accelerates execution, it comes in at least 20% below our own equivalent traditional delivery model.
What if the project takes longer than estimated?+
If we misjudge the effort for the agreed scope, the overrun is on us. Scope changes are assessed separately and you decide whether they go in.
What do the entry engagements cost?+
Production Readiness Assessment: US$1,500 (5 business days). Product Blueprint: US$3,500–5,000 (3–4 weeks). Dedicated pods: from ~US$12,800/month. Software Care: from US$990/month.
Rescue
Can you work on an app built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Bubble?+
Yes. We start with a Production Readiness Assessment to understand how solid the foundation is, then recommend whether to continue, stabilize or rebuild parts.
What if the foundation turns out to be solid?+
We tell you. The report documents what’s working and why you can keep building with confidence.
Do I have to do the Rescue with you?+
No. The deliverables are yours. If you start the Rescue with us within 30 days, we credit 100% of the Assessment.
Build
Do I have to build with you after the Blueprint?+
No. The Blueprint deliverables are yours. If you build with Ciancoders, we credit 100% of its cost to the build.
What technologies do you use?+
Whatever fits the problem, the team that will maintain it and your current infrastructure. The decision and its reasoning are documented.
Scale and Operate
What is a dedicated pod?+
A stable unit — one senior engineer plus one or two mid-level engineers — working continuously inside your roadmap with AI tooling and Cian-OS. Replacement within 10 business days if someone isn’t the right fit.
Can you operate software you didn’t build?+
Yes. We start with a Production Readiness Assessment and take over operations from there under a Software Care plan.
What counts as a critical incident?+
The system being unavailable, or an essential business function not operating. Response times apply to those cases and are defined in writing in each plan.
