Client context

Intermundial is a Spanish InsurTech specializing in travel insurance and assistance, operating across Europe with complex web platforms and enterprise systems.

Challenge

Scaling development capacity with senior nearshore engineers who could work in sync with the Spain-based team while sustaining quality, communication and continuity.

Insight

Engineering capacity does not scale by adding individual contractors: it scales by integrating a stable team into the client’s workflows, tools and cadence, with real time-zone overlap.

What we built

Continuous development and maintenance of the insurer’s claims platform, website and customer app, inside the Intermundial team’s roadmap.

Engineering decisions

React, Angular and Docker, plus ERP integrations. Effective time overlap between Guatemala (GMT-6) and Spain (CET) for agile delivery cycles: the team works on the client’s schedule, not alongside it.
