Agropartner is a Chile-based AgTech company founded in 2017. It was established with the goal of becoming the first 100% digital agricultural input distributor in the country. Its mission is to aggregate demand for phytosanitary products—such as agrochemicals, fertilizers, and specialty inputs—and negotiate directly with manufacturers to lower costs for small and mid-sized distributors.

THE PROBLEM

THE PROBLEM

To achieve its goal of offering disruptive pricing and building a scalable distribution model, Agropartner faced a number of operational challenges:

  1. Their logistics, order management, and administrative processes were still manual or semi-digital, leading to slow response times, human error, and limited visibility over inventory and margins.

  2. They lacked real-time, reliable reports, which are essential for negotiating with large agrochemical manufacturers.

  3. A rapidly changing agricultural market—with inflation, pricing pressure, and competitive disruption—demanded a solution that was agile, data-driven, and transparent.

In short, it was essential to fully digitize the entire value chain—from planning and ordering to delivery, training, and analytics—to remain competitive and deliver on their mission.

OUR SOLUTION

OUR SOLUTION

We developed a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android, fully integrated with the Guatecompras system. This app enables registered suppliers to easily navigate available bidding opportunities, submit proposals, receive real-time notifications, and manage their profiles—all from their mobile devices. The design focuses on intuitive navigation, simple login procedures, and seamless access to the most relevant features of the web platform. By eliminating technical barriers and optimizing the mobile experience, the solution empowers more suppliers to engage in the public procurement process and contributes to greater transparency and efficiency in government purchasing.
